Even in the winter, the farm guesthouse and inn Leierhof is open for you – welcoming families, groups and school classes. Visit us in Rodengo and enjoy a relaxing and snowy winter vacation in the mountains!
From the Residence Leierhof you have a beautiful view of the valley and the surrounding mountains. The free ski bus guarantees excellent access to nearby ski resorts. You also have the possibility to enjoy snowshoeing, tobogganing and ice skating.
In order to recover from the sports activities in your winter holidays in the mountains, you may visit our sauna area (starting from autumn 2017) or get to know our farm animals.
For your culinary needs, we provide a breakfast buffet, and optionally also dinner – only 700 m from the farm, at the Hotel Rosenheim.

Very close to the Farm Residence Leierhof, there are two ski resorts, which are part of the Dolomiti Superski ski network. The family-friendly ski area Gitschberg/Val Giovo (about 20 km away) offers 51 kilometres of slopes, an altitude of 1300-2000 m, 16 ski lifts, 2 ski schools, a snow park and three panoramic platforms. The ski resort Mount Plose near Bressanone (40 km) is also worth a visit during your winter vacation in the mountains. It offers a true winter paradise for skiers, toboggan fans and snowshoe hikes, with 40 km of slopes, a fun park, the longest toboggan run and the longest downhill slope in South Tyrol. Both ski areas can be reached from Rodengo with a free ski bus.

Of course, you don’t need the spend your entire winter holiday in the mountains only skiing. How about, for example, a winter hike or cross-country skiing on the magnificent trails of the Rodengo Alp? However, you should not miss the original South Tyrolean Christmas Markets in Bolzano, Bressanone and Brunico. Heavenly indulge in a festive ambience, beautiful music, mulled wine and delicious South Tyrolean specialties.
